The federal aid is under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThese federal programs can help thousands of Hawai\u2018i workers who are struggling to get by,\u201d said Sen. Schatz. \u201cIf you\u2019re an independent contractor and need some help, please visit our website to learn more about what kind of federal support is available.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen.
