Is there any similarity between a policeman and a vampire?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes,\u201d according to a Filipino observer, \u201cthey are monsters. They have fangs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA policeman and a vampire are different,\u201d said a second observer, \u201ca vampire kills his victim by biting the victim\u2019s neck; a policeman kills his victim by pressing his knee on the victim\u2019s neck.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA vampire victimizes beautiful white women; a policeman victimizes ugly black men,\u201d chimed in a third observer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFuera de los buenos,\u201d (Except the good), I excepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEs como si todo lo bueno fuera tragado por lo malo,\u201d (Like all that is good, they have been gulped down by the bad), said the first observer, showing off his Spanish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat will not eliminate their fangs, why not just defang the police,\u201d I suggested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI will bring a crucifix and garlic, vampires are afraid of them,\u201d said a fourth observer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GOOD PEOPLE MUST BE PROTECTED<\/strong>
The good people need to be protected from the bad people. Who will protect them? People have lost faith in the police who are believed to be monsters and racists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Violent protests against police brutality started with the death of George Floyd who was shown on social media with a policeman pressing his knee on George\u2019s neck as he cried \u201cI can\u2019t breathe\u201d. [It is a safe bet that the policeman will be acquitted. He will say he was praying.]\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The protests have escalated with the shooting in the back of a black man Rayshard Brooks while running away from Atlanta policeman. He was sleeping in his car on the driveway of a Wendy\u2019s restaurant blocking customers when two policemen tried to arrest him. Protesters burned Wendy\u2019s whose employee had called the police. [The police shooter should have listened to the advice of Presidential candidate Joe Biden \u201cShoot them in the leg.\u201d].<\/p>\n\n\n\n

START WITH A CLEAN SLATE<\/strong>
Cities should start with a clean slate by creating an entirely new department to protect the good people. Whatever they are going to call it, they should avoid using the word \u201cpolice\u201d which has become a dirty 6-letter word. A department to protect the people cannot consist of \u201cthe good, the bad, and the ugly\u201d like the current police departments. They must consist of only the good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
